Most of the leading clubs in Essex have sponsors.
I am not sure what the sponsors generally get for their money other than an involvement in the club.
We could have sponsorship on clothing or on say boundary boards. Sponsors might want to get involved in some matches such as the 20/20 match against the Kent winners or our all day Premier League 1st XI matches.
We are also hosting the League Cup Final at Loughton this season.
We are investing the money we raise ourselves as a club in improving the ground and facilities.
We are losing out on some players particularly students who are looking to have their cricket expenses sponsored.
