Subject: FREE training opportunity for everyone aged over 16
Below are details of a new ECB Support Coach workshop that is available at the Leyton Cricket Hub on a number of dates this summer. It's a single workshop and its FREE!! This is not a formal coaching qualification (that pathway begins with a Level 1 course) but anyone considering whether to coach or help with our juniors will find it a valuable and enjoyable introducton.
The club will be able to support you in obtaining a free DBS check and the tutors will advise about the requirement for a safeguarding certificate.

This offer is open to everyone connected to our club and aged over 16: player, parent or supporter, it's a great opportunity to learn more about the game and possibly find yourself a rewarding new role!
ECB Support Coach
Coaching is an enormously rewarding, challenging and crucial role in cricket.
ECB Support Coach is a new coach development programme consisting of e-learning and face-to-face modules that will help you take your first steps into coaching cricket.
Programme outcomes
This programme has been designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to support qualified coaches. An ECB Support Coach is not qualified to lead coaching sessions independently and therefore must be supervised by a qualified cricket coach.

- Anyone aged 16 and over wishing to support qualified coaches, inspire players and make a difference to the game.

- • 1 face-to-face module lasting 3 hours • 2 bitesize e-learning modules lasting 10-15 minutes each • Multiple choice question assessment.
· Pre-requisites for certification
- Valid safeguarding training e.g. Safeguarding Young Cricketers
- Valid ECB DBS.
