Dear Members,
The junior outdoor season finished on a high with;
The Under 16 Matchplay team reaching the County Final at the County Ground
And the Under 11 team winning the MET Board Haydn Davies Trophy
Unfortunately after a promising start 3 out of our 4 adult (open age teams) were relegated
We need to regroup and improve for next season.
On Saturday 28th September from 5pm at the club we will be presenting trophies to players
from the youth age groups and also the adult teams.
Azher has performed wonders this season as Secretary, Fixtures Secretary and several
other roles and is a very deserving Clubperson of the Year.
Please try to attend the presentation and we would welcome help in running the club no matter
how small.
Could all attendees please let your age group managers or captains know if you will be attending so
that we can cater for food accordingly, and reduce wastage.
We would also welcome ideas on how we can improve as a club.
We will be sending round a simple questionnaire for you to air your views.
We can run courses for coaching, umpiring, scoring and first aid.
Most of these can take place at the club.
We are happy to pay the costs as long as those qualifying are prepared to give back something to the
club by assisting in teaching the skills they have learned.
