We are hoping that our cricket week will be back to normal this summer.
Cricket week is the first week in August at present we have confirmed 4 all day matches.
The matches start at 11.30 and have a break for lunch and tea and normally finish by 6.30
Monday 1st V THE FORTY CLUB
Wednesday 3rd V FREEBOOTERS
Thursday 4th V MCC
Friday 5th V EAST HERTS CAVALIERS
We need to organise teams well in advance of cricket week.
It is helpful to have a volunteer to captain each of the matches.
The MCC invariably have a very strong side on the Thursday
The fixtures are open-age games participants must be at least 13
Please respond to me as soon as possible with your availability during the week and if you are prepared to help organise and captain a side
Also if you have any views on the best approach to Tuesday's match/matches.
There are a number of options for Tuesday 2nd. We can try to get another opponent or arrange an internal club event.
Suggestions include junior age group T20 Matches,
An internal 6 a side competition and plate
An internal single wicket competition and plate
